Finish painting your "Moving Fish." 1. The water between the seaweed needs to be painting making tints with warm colors. 2. Make sure that your Statue of Liberty is finished, so that we can continue working on our Lichtenstein type art project. |
1. Finish gluing your leaves on your watercolor paper. 2. Paint your Statue of Liberty green with a tiny amount of black mixed in. 3. Draw a background for your picture. If you have time, color it. You may use watercolor for the sky and the water, but use markers for the rest of it. 4. Enjoy! |
Using a piece of watercolor paper, paint a background covering your entire piece of paper. You may use any colors you like. You may paint a wet wash, a graduated wet wash, a resist, a scrape, a dry brush , a blot, a salt or plastic wrap. You may use a combination of the various techniques. Have fun! |
1. With a black Sharpie trace leaves on watercolor paper. 2. Soften the watercolor paints. 3. Wet the inside of a leaf with clear water. 4. With paint the consistency of cream, dip your brush into the paint and then lightly touch your moistened leaf. The paint will bloom. 5. Rinse your brush whenever you change colors. 6. When you dip your paint into a new color and add it to your leaf, tip your paper from side to side - it will make a new color. 7. Paint all your leaves using the "wet on wet" method. 8. You can also make veins by drawing them on with the point of your brush's handle while the paint is still wer. 9. When your leaves are dry, cut them out and save them for Part 2 of your project. |
October 10, 2016 1. Using a light colored pencil,draw several different sized and shaped pumpkins on your black construction paper. Overlap. 2. Outline your drawing with glue. Lay your pictures flat to dry. 3. Test your OIL pastels on a scrap piece of black paper. Blend with your fingers. Have a wet paper towel to keep your fingers clean. A smudge sheet also helps. 4. Color your pumpkins, sky, grass, etc. with your oil pastels. 5. Have fun! |
1. Trace around the wooden or other templates to make a good composition. Overlap some of your shapes. Keep some white negative space. 2. Using the chalk pastels, color in your shapes. 3. Trace around your colored shapes with BLACK OIL pastels. 4. You may draw patterns in your white space. 5. This is YOUR picture. Enjoy! |
